How can I turn on the sound on my cam?

Lumina tries to turn over, but won't, and have replaced numerous parts?

  • 95' Lumina stalled after dash gages bounced, but no odd engine sound. Car tries to turn over but won't start. Have replaced timing chain and gears, crankshaft sensor, cam shaft sensor, throttle position sensor, idle air control sensor, head gaskets, fuel pump and filter, spark plugs, and a push rod that was not the correct size. Tested the egr valve, control module, and coil packs and plug wires for spark. Battery is good. The car started once and ran for about 10 minutes, and now will not start again and backfires. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Idea: sell the parts and junk the carcass. You'r upside down enuf on this car.

I have no idea except that if you keep changing parts instead of testing and analyzing, eventually you might get lucky and hit on the correct part, or you'll run out of money, whichever comes first. Sorry but I really have to laugh at this one, especially the idle air control that ONLY comes into play AFTER you get the car started, it couldn't cause the car not to start.
