How do I access the parent panel?

Can i open the access panel in my trunk of my 01 grand prix to gain access to fuel tank to siphon gas?

  • my 01 grand prix has a siphon stop bulb in the tank which will not allow me to siphon gas from my tank but there is a access panel in the trunk to get to the fuel pump. if i take this panel off, can i get to the tank and where the gas is and siphon in that way or does ne one know any other way i can siphon the gas from my tank it is a full tank

    Yes, but it's a pain. The pump would need to be removed to gain access. Try the other method first.

Not really because then you would have to pull the pump out. Just pull the schrader valve out at the test port on the fuel rail on the engine and stick a long piece of rubber fuel line on it and the other end into a gas can and jump the fuel pump relay and let the fuel pump, pump the gas out.

Twist the hose while putting it in it may be alittle tuff but it will go and take it out the same way don't just pull it out.
