How much does it cost to paint a car at Maaco?

How much would a paint job like this cost?

    Not sure of the price, some colors they have for like $300, your color may be around $500-600 for a car. Not sure though. Maaco I hear they charge extra from that price to paint door jambs and to prep the car (sand and tape off). Otherwise they won't do it other than mask off. So they will just paint over your current paint and that would mean it wouldn't last long and would peel off within a year or two since it is not clinging to the metal body and just to the paint/clear coat. So it is best to sand the car down yourself or have them do it. No need to paint jambs if you are doing the same color. Just call and ask.

I will tell you that me and my family members have had at least about 6 paint jobs done by my local MAACO and don't have any complaints. Look it's not a 4 or 5 thousand dollar paint job so for the price it's a good deal. always wait till they have their 1//2 price pint job. now at least double that will be closer to what it will actually cost. if you don't keep the same color (you don't have to) there will be extra charges for door jams and some other surfaces. i know i had a 1973 pinto, a 1993 Pontiac grand am (just that car last month) son had a 1986 buick, 1990 buick, and about 2 years ago a 1976 chevy. a lot depends on who's painting the car. they are actually better today than they have ever been. We always slipped the painter $20.00 before the car was painted. good luck to ya
