Where to find HID style lights for my car?

  • I have a 1977 Buick Skylark, so it has actual lights as a whole, not just bulbs with plastic covers that go over them, and I'm looking for HID style lights that will work with my car. I would go for actual HID lights but since I live in California, they seem to be a tad anal about certain things on motor vehicles unfortunately. I've checked local auto stores and a little online and the closest thing I can find are these Sylvania Silver Stream lights, which are a little brighter but don't really have that blue tone that HID and HID style lights do. Anyone have any suggestions?

    you are talking about an expensive conversion, the ingitors alone can cost several hundred dollars a peice not to mention the HID's, and thats if you can find a coversion kit. I would stick with the Sylvanias
