What kind of mufflers sound the best?

Car is shaky with machine gun sound when accelerating and Idle?

• PLEASE HELP. I know this is a long post but i need to be as thorough as possible to get the best answer.. so sorry in advance. I have a 95 Taurus sho 3.2. It has dual exhaust, and each muffler had a hole in it. I am sure my Catalytic converter was clogged as well because my car stalls out sometimes when foot is all the way on the break or when i come to stops. ( Starts right up though ).. So.... I just had my father in law replace my mufflers ( With glass thrush cheap mufflers )..and while he was fixing that, he somehow cleaned out my cat converters too. He also had to fix my POWER STEERING problem ( leak in power steering hose ). As soon as my car was done, I was so happy because my car sounded a lot quieter with the new mufflers, and my car did not stall on me 1 time since cleaning the CAT converters. 2 days later, my car would not start but it did sound like it was going to. I got a spark and my pump was working because gas came out. I tried and tried to get it to start til I gave up.. I let it sit for an hour and tried again. Still wouldnt start. Then I seen some fuel injector and line cleaner in my trunk. I poured it in and started my car, it started perfectly. I drove it to the gas station and filled it up... and it wouldnt start again. I let it sit 10 minutes and it started but when it started this time, My car began to get really shaky and super loud. Kind of a ticking machine gun sound. I started to drive. The faster I go, the louder it gets. Its super quiet when im not accelerating. It only gets loud in IDLE and acceleration. I have a fuel pump 1 yr old. My gas gage is broke so I ran out of gas a few times and i know its not good for your car. What could be the reason for the sudden noise? is it my exhaust manifold gasket maybe? or maybe my mufflers arent on good enough? or catalytic converter got clogged again from me trying to get my car started all those times? It seems everytime my father in law works on my car, something else happens soon after. any suggestions please let me know, Thanks for reading
