    it honestly depends. are you doing this yourself or are you paying a mechanic? if your doing it yourself maximum of 10000 dollars but if a mechanic is doing it you can add a good 5-10 thousand more.

If you are talking about a frame off restoration with interior start at about 25k, what ever you get for estimates or what ever you think what you are going to invest and do it yourself, double that amount and you will be safe. It is going to cost you a whole lot more than you realize. There is no body shop that is going to prep,paint body and nd frame for 3,000 and make the car presentable. Unless you are doing most of the work yourself.

What condition are you looking for? Does it have a title? If it doesn't leave it alone until that's taken care of. Dad restored a 65 Malibu SS in 2002 and it cost about $25,000. Many trophies but it was already a good driver. Most of the work was done in house except the top and windshield.

if a mechanic does it it could cost up to $35,000 but it all depends on what you get done to it also

it really all depends on what you want for power and strength of the engine, if you want to stroke the engine or not. and wat else you wana do. its a lot easier if you reserch about costs and everything on google. engines can cost from a couple hundred dollars to 10k +. all depends on your preferances of strength and reliablility.
