Where would I find a reasonably priced trunk?

Where can I find a trunk wedge or stopper?

  • HI, I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The trunk shocks are worn out and the trunk will not stay open, ( it's kinda heavy and real hard to hold it and put grocery's in, at the same time) Someone told me they had the same problem with a Jeep and they bought at Autozone some kind of trunk wedgies or stoppers, that you put on the shocks and when you open the trunk, you slide the stoppers up and it holds the trunk open. It's a cheaper alternative to replacing the shocks. My husband went to Autozone and they just looked at him like he was crazy. They had no idea what he was talking about. Does anyone know where i can get them? Please do not suggest just using a stick, I'm not a redneck.

honestly its not worth the money to go buy a stopper. a 2x4 works perfect. doesnt look the greatest but whocares. it just holes up ur trunk. its not like u made a spoiler outta 2x4s. quite a bit cheaper too
