Can i Buy a f150 ecoboost engine if so where?

possibly salvage yard or ford dealer (big bucks here) best bet , consider selling what you have and try to buy a used f150 with the eco-boost this might be the smartest route overall if you engine swap, you will incur additional costs of matching a transmission, drive shaft and possibly rear end to your current truck, not worth the risk Good luck

it can be done but ur better off going another route.chris is right. this isnt the old days where u can jus take a motor out of a 78 thunder bird and drop it in a 82 crown vic an it jus bolt rite up. you CANNOT take the engine out of a 2011 f150 and put it in another 2011 w/out new computer and transmission. it used 2 be easy 2 swap engines but now dealerships r trying to cut out the junk man so u cant buy used parts. i suggest a 72 f100 if ur into interchangeable parts. or mayb a motorcycle if ur into saving gas

You can put one in, but you'll also need to install the right computer and wiring harness. There is no way you can justify the cost on converting over to an ecoboost engine. I don't think you could touch this for less than $5,000.

As the way you write it seems than your F150 didnt came stock with that engine, therefore you should be aware than the engine only is completely useless, you need the whole engine management.
