How can i fix my car radio?

i have a '95 honda accord my radio doesnt work it goes in and out with reception but most of the time it doesnt work at all the antenna doesnt go down or up anymore it used to work more of the time and the antenna stayed up and make a grinding noise so i pushed it down one day and now it doesnt work how can i fix this without buying a whole new radio or taking it into a shop please take in mind i dont know much about cars thanks

You don't need a new radio, you need a new antenna!

you can take out the old antenna. I will normally unscrew from the base and buy a fixed one. But you will have to disconnect to old antenna from the motor that used raise and lower it. You don't need a new radio Good LUck
