Will Earth hour do damage to power supply system?

After doing a power steering flush, I hear a noise...?

• So I just did a flush in my 2005 Toyota 4Runner, and I used the method of taking the return line out and connecting it to a jug, and filling the reservoir while the engine was running. This allowed for the new stuff to go in and the old stuff to be pushed out throughout the entire system. I put back on the return line, filled up the reservoir a little above normal because there was nothing in the lines, and then started it up again. The fluid from the return line became foamy at first but after bleeding the line with the cap off the reservoir there are no more bubbles. It is back to normal, and the only thing left is a noise when the vehicle is running. The noise isn't constant, and it seems to have gone down a little since my assistant and I flushed it. Keep in mind we did this today, about 1 hour ago. I am hoping it will go away with time, but I would like some reassurance that no damage will be done. The recommended fluid type is Dexron III ATF, but nobody has that in the city, and I would have to pay more in shipping that the actual product costs online. So I went to the Toyota dealer and bought some that the service guys said is fine. It's not Dexron II or III ATF; just regular power steering fluid. Anyways, the noise coming from [what I think is the power steering fluid pump] wasn't there before, so maybe I did something wrong? Thanks for everyone's input.

  To bleed a power steering system of air after flushing,start the vehicle and turn wheels lock to lock a couple of times.The foam was air mixing with fluid.Noise is probably air still trapped. EDIT Take the cap off,level may fall a little.fill it after your done.Hopefully noise goes away.
