How to put a window screen in from inside?

Can a window screen be put back in after it's been removed?

  • I popped mine out by accident and i don't know how to put it back, it's a double hang window..thanks

    put the top of the screen into the upper screen track lift up until the bottom of the screen clears the lower track and move it into place.let it down into the channel- done.

you should see some form of catchers on it some come with ones on the side some comes with ones on the top with the ones on the side look for the little protruding thingamabobs insert one end then angle your screen to put the other one in if you see some silverish things at the top (colors may vary) then just push screen up till it fits and lock in your pins at the bottom

it can but will probably need a new seal i would take it to a windscreen repair shop and they can refit it.

Surely this window and screen is *not* on your automobile?!? -- or is it, perhaps, on a trailer house that you pull behind your auto? Anyway, any screen that is mounted in a frame (aluminum) and which can be "popped out" easily -- *should* be able to be "popped back in" by matching up spring-loaded fasteners in their proper positions.

if it is a window for a home then just align the two metal tabs to the top and push up and into the window from the outside. You will see a little channel where the screen sits at the bottom.
