I have Ford Taurus starting problem.

Ford taurus 2001 starting problem?

  • my 2001 ford taurus will not start, it happened many times. i hear the sparks, and the battery is good. I try to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. It will start with the first click (first two times),but now it starts at its own will. but when it starts, it runs smooth and great.

    didnt say must about what it was doing or not so im goin gto take a wild guess and say you need to clean your battery cables and maybe add a fuel treatment

check your fuel pressure.. check for leaking pressure.. put the guage on and turn your ignition on and check presssure.. come back five minutes and if it went down by more than a pound or two of pressure.. your leaking pressure somewhere.
