How much does it cost for a car battery + installation for a 97 Toyota Camry.?

    Go to Walmart. They will test the battery for free. Probably needs to be replaced and they will recommend one for your car. They will also have a variety of quality and price (months of warranty etc). Should find them from $40 to $80.

First of all, try driving your car to an AutoZone for a free test. Many times, the only problem is dirty battery cables or corrosion. POWER WASH your entire engine. A clean engine ALWAYS works the best, anyways. If it turns out that your battery is bad, you are still better off using a genuine TOYOTA factory battery than the bargain specials found at Walmart. Other choices are OPTIMA batteries and DEKA batteries. Everything else is not worth it!!! THIS IS A DO-IT-YOURSELF kind of job!!
