How is the battery of a hybrid car charged?

Car battery won't stay charged 98 Nissan Quest?

  • Hi, I have a Nissan Quest minivan that all of a sudden started to drain the car battery when turned off. I have put in a new battery and it drained it I got the battery that my car had drained and put it into another vehicle and that car started right up no jump needed at all, So I have had the alternator tested 4 time or so and the alternator is good. What could it be I am not leaving on anything that I have any control over.. but I was told it maybe something electrical staying on when the car is off. please! please! help me. Thanks you all

    Sometimes thr connecters get rusty and it doesn't stay charged, if it is rusty you can poor Coke on it(No joke!). My parents car used To do thar until my dad started beating it and the rust came off(Little story I had to tell!) And also maybe a new connecter won't hurt. And have you been keeping your headlights on? Hoped I helped some! :)

check battery fluids and date. and terminals for corrosion [ terminals first] 5 minute check... sand file corrosion off terminals. nothing left to check after these 3 items...
