How do I get my teen drivers license in CT?

• Well, I'm 16 and I got my learners permit. But now, I need to get my teen drivers license. I read on the Connecticut DMV website that I need to complete a certain amount of hours in a commercial driving school, and behind the wheel, and a whole bunch of stuff I don't get. I went onto th website for a driving school called Rae's driving school. And they offer a package for all the hours I need to get my license, but its $499.00. And my parents ain't paying that much for me. A friend of mine told me that there's the home-training option to get the hours and that that option is much cheaper. I have no idea what I need to do. But what I'm asking is, could someoneone explain to me excatly what I need to do to get all the hours I need to be able to get my teen drivers license? Please tell me everything in detail, like what class I need to take, what I need to do with my parents, everything please. Please
