My fiance got in a really bad car accident yesterday!!! PLEASE HELP!!!?
-
He was using my father's brain new mitsubishi van, he was crossing to another lane, then out of nowhere on his right side a car went flying at him and the whole side of that car smashed up, the car is crimpled and done with.Is a blessing my fiance made it even alive! He has a burnt mitsubishi mark imprinted on his hand, that is the most serious damage he has (that we know of atm, he will get a full body xray soon to see what else). My question is this, my fiance had no driver's license (he moves from quebec to alberta and never renewed it, btw we live in canada), Is there anything my fiance can do, if he was not at fault and he has 2 witnesses ready to speak for him.My father's is more than 20grand, and we are looking to seek into legal advances, is there anything we can do to win the insurance of the other guy (who is native btw so he is FULLY covered). Please we really would appreaciate your advice. Ehat if my dad goes another way about it and says that my fiance stole the vehicule that he crashed yesterday in order for him to get all his money back for my father's very expensive car. What is the most serious charge my fiance would face??? Ps- in all reality my father did know he was driving the car, but the problem is without a license...my dad did not know that part. And there is 2 ways we can go about this, this is one of them

you let him drive a car loaned to you knowing he had no lic. Way to go girl !! IF YOU FATHER FILES A false stolen car report, that is a major violation of the law.. Also YOU are %50 responsible for defrauding your father letting him think your BF had a lic. I think you owe your dad the money too. Hopefully his ins will pay for the car. but i guess you have already researched that. But if he did not know your BF did not have a lic, because he was lied too. maybe they will pay. Good luck. And i hope you dont marry a person like this.
OUCH! I'm sorry to say there is no way this is going to end up in your fiances favor. He was driving without a license and got into an accident. I know it wasn't his fault, but that doesn't really matter. What did the officer on the scene say? Did your fiance get a ticket for driving without a valid license? I can't see the insurance company covering the cost of the van. Not a great way to start off with the in-law's!
