When can I actually get my drivers license?

So I live in Houston,Tx and there's this thing where I have to wait 6 months before I can get my license...I'm 15 going on 16 in August. If I start driving school in April and finish in May, could I get my license in August when I turn 16 or would I have to wait 'till November?

You would have to wait till November and schedule your road test and when that is completed you can get your license.

If I'm up-to-date on my United States customs and laws, you have to have your temporary licence for one year before you can get your official one.
