How to find out if my title was stolen?

My car was stolen with the title and bill of sell inside it. what can I do somebody help..?

• I just bought a car less than a week ago. I still didn't have time to change the care registration to my name..I got it stolen..i called the cops to report it stolen I was unable to file a report because the title isn't under my name. and the title was in the car with the bill of sale. I received a call from the cops and they told me that they found my car Now my problem is that i cant take it out of the impound because i cant proof that i bought it. another problem is that the name on the registration is not under the name of the person that sold it to me. he never changed it to his name. i tried looking for the the person that has their name on the registration but there is no way to find that person.. what can i do???some one please help i really worked hard to buy this car....how can i get it out of the impound??

  Ya you basically screwed yourself and that is the exact reason they tell you not to keep the title in the car and never buy a car from a person who's name isn't on the title plus you should have had the title and registration all set up before you even started driving it.there is nothin you can do to get it back basically the guy who's name is on the title can go there get his car and drive off I hate to say it but I don't think you will get it back
