How can I get my license renewed in California?

How do I clear a suspension on my temp. florida license and get my California license back?

• I'm a California Resident, went to florida for three months and wanted to become a Florida resident so I got a Florida licence. I was only in florida for 2 months then I had to fly to Spain and was there for 1 year, I did not know that in Florida your license can be suspended if you do not have an updated insurance so while being in spain my license was suspended. when I went back to my hometown in California I got my california license and turned in my florida license. there was no problem until after when i received a notice stating my florida license was canceled therefore my California license was cancelled too. I did not have an insurance because I was not living in florida, how do I clear this and get my California license, Have no interest in becoming a Florida resident now thanks

  You will have to contact the Fl. DMV and explain your situation to them. If that doesn't work, you will have no choice but to pay the fine,and maybe have to show proof of residence in CA.
