What is the definition of garage for car insurance purposes?

I would like to know the definition of garage for car insurance purposes, my car is in a building that is enclosed on three sides and has a locked sliding front garage door, i would like to know whether garage means being enclosed in all fours sides (fully enclosed), my garage has the back open which leads to the garden which Adrian Flux insurance considers a carport rather than garage and is proceeding to charge an extra £100 premium for. Thanks.

I'm an Insurance Agent in the US, and (at least here) when we ask where is the car garaged... it simply means where's the physical address where the car is kept. We don't care if you have a garage, park the car in your driveway or in the road.
