Do you have to pay a registration fee when switching car insurance companies?

My car is registered and insured, but I want to switch companies mid coverage. Do I have to pay a registration fee? Car is registered in MA.

Just because you're changing your insurance company it don't mean you have to pay any registration fee after all you should get a rebate from the other company that still owes you for the six month's left on your policy don't expect it to be half of what you originally paid though it wont be that mush but you should get something back so that will help with you're new insurance company payment but it wont happen fast for the refund so remember to apply for the rebate as soon as you have another Company covering you the quicker you tell them the quicker they will cancel your ole insurance & be a bit extra money coming back to you probably take around 3-months before you get it though.
