Drivers license in PA?

  • Hi i currently live in Pa and im turning 18 in 3 days and i still dont have my drivers license!! I was planning on getting my license after i turn 18.. Would i still need to get a learners permit and wait 6 months to get my license or do i do something different since im 18... i heard different stories.. please help......

    i lived in PA all my life and i can tell you that you do have to have a permit before you can get your license. everyone does, regardless of your age.

You still have to get the permit first, but I believe after the age of 18, you don't have to wait the required 6 months. When you go to the DMV to take your test, you can find out there.
