How to keep your series 7 license active?

I need my car fixed and I want to keep my license, is there no way back?

  • Okay, so I am 16 years old, I live in Texas and I have a provisional license. I own a 2005 Honda Accord. The other day, I let one of my good friends drive my car after practice, with 3 other friends in the car. Yes, this already was a bad idea. He usually is a really good driver but then things got stupid. We were in a residential area when my friend decides to drift the car at 40 mph. We ended up spinning out and hitting a well in someone's front yard with the back of the car. On impact, both the front and rear passenger side curtain airbags deployed (two airbags). Fortunately, everyone was okay. There was no injuries. Upon getting out of the car, we noticed that the two right axles were broken and the wheels were facing the ground, this happened when we hit the curb. The problem is, that my friend that was driving doesn't have a license. So when the police arrived I told the officer that I was driving. I figured that the insurance wouldn't want to cover any of the damage if someone without a license was driving the car. I received two tickets, one for failure to control speed and one for disobeying license restrictions. Now I have a few problems. Two days have passed since the incident. My insurance company is saying they want to rule my car a total loss just because the airbags deployed, but we are still trying to argue with them about it. Now the second problem, I am in danger of getting my license revoked and I really can't have that. I am actually a really good driver and I don't want to lose my privilege to drive over something I didn't do. Is there anything I can do at this point to save myself? I really need this car fixed as it holds sentimental vaule to me. And I can't lose my license over this. Please help.

  • Answer:

What a tangled web we weave when we try to deceive. You will loose the car, licence and your insure-ability.

Other answers

To help with the car problem, you should be able to buy the car back from the insurance company for a small price, usually about 300 dollars. As for your license, when you go to court over it take a plea bargen for it and try to get on drivers probation. Probation works in that if you dont have any accident or tickets in 6 months, it leaves your record

okay so indeed. You made your bed, now lay in it....okay so

have your parents talk to your friends parents since he was driving and being wreckless i think he is responsiblet but you cant change your story so all you can do is plead with them or wait until its over and sue
