I just got a speeding ticket how much will insurance go up?

Im 18 i was speeding to get to school, 50 in 35... The ticket was worth 50 dollars, i pay 1200 a year for insurance and i was wondering how much it goes up, and my insurance company is farris insurance in Hickory NC, and my sister works there.

Why not just call your sister and just ask her first, before posting anything on the web??? TP
Figure 50% for 15 over the limit. That will probably last for 2 or 3 years. You got off REALLY cheap on the fine! In most jurisdictions the basic fine is $10 per MPH over the limit, and at 15 over they double it.
Go to court, hopefully it will be reduced to a non-moving violation (Parking) You'll still pay a fine, but no insurance increase
