I received a bad PA title for my mobile home i purchased?

  • i paid $7,250 cash for a mobile home back in april. the people i bought it from had a lien on it from origen financial services which released the lien on 5-13-11 according to the title. it took several months for them to receive the title then we finally went to a notary to get it transferred to my name. then another couple months later the pa department of transportation sends the title back to me in a packet stating that the mobile home has NOT been put in my name because they think there has been a duplicate title issued since the date this one was issued which doesnt make any sense because this is the title the people received once the lien was released. then we transferred it right away. the people i bought the trailer from tried calling to get another duplicate title or to see whats going on but they wont give them any information now because they said its not even in their name now, but the title we transferred at the notary has their names on it. i cant even get insurance on the place since its not in my name. weve lived here for seven months now and still no title. how do i get the mobile home in my name or get my money back since its been so long. it cant be legal to sell a place with a bad title and i have receipts and a photo copy of the check we bought the place with. even if i take them to court and win how would i get the full amount back in one lump sum because they used the money to purchase a new trailer in this same park so they arent gonna have that much cash to refund me. if anything they should have to give me the trailer they bought with my money since theres not a good title for the one they sold me, they should lose out on the money if anything not me. i am also paying on a 5 year personal loan for this trailer. its a big confusing mess but its not my fault in anyway so theres got to be a way to get my money back or at least the title. any info will help. thanks
