Car dealerships taking harley-davidson as trade-in?

  • So I am about to the point where I need to replace my car, have a 1999 hyundai with 106K on it. I was wondering if anyone knows if car dealerships take harley motorcycles as trade-ins? My car is woth about 10 cents. I love my bike, but it seems lately just haven't been riding much. Thinking about selling it, but that seems like a hassle to me, As people will want to test drive it etc... and I get one guy who doesn't know how to ride, especially my big and heavy harley and he dumps it and im screwed.

    I would recommend a private sale, or take it somewhere who sells bikes. Try taking it to the dealership where you have it fixed. You could put adverts in motorcycle clubs, where everyone will be properly insured, or in the pubs where bikers congregate.

These days, most dealerships will take any motorcycle of value for a trade. I went looking for a camaro a few weeks ago and the dealership had 4 motorcycles in the showroom! Just ride to the dealership of your liking and tell them you need a car and this is your trade. If then give you a song and dance go to another dealers.
