Seller lied about shipping cost on ebay, what to do?

Hello. I won an item off ebay for 25.99 and the shipping cost was 25.51. I paid the seller using paypal. Today I got a letter from the post office saying that I need to pick up the item and that I need to pay 64.21 for shipping. The seller LIED about the shipping cost, and now I have pay almost 70 bucks for shipping for my item. I already messaged the seller. If the seller refuses to return the extra 64.21 cents, what do I need to do? Do I file the case under fraud? I am new to ebay and this never happened before. Thank you!

Contact EBAY support ASAP that could be fraudulent but you should take it up with support first they will be able to talk you through and contact the eBay user easier

You got what you ordered. Now pay the post office. Maybe you got quicker shipping than you bargained for. Just pay up. That was the stupid thing about Ebay when I sold stuff there...everyone cried about 2nd day shipping prices, but never complained that they weren't waiting two weeks for me to get off my butt to ship something because I wanted their stuff out of my hands ASAP..

How was the item shipped? You should open a dispute in the Resolution Center against the seller for charging you too much. Explain what happened. You have proof the shipping was only 25.51 in your email from the seller. Ebay can resolve the problem.

Go to the post office and refuse delivery. They will have you sign something and it will be returned to the seller. Get a copy of the slip the post office gives you and contact Ebay and they will reverse the charge through PayPal for you after the seller receives it back.
