Get a Car or Truck?!?

• I'm 16 years old I'm currently looking for a vehicle. I ride motocross and like to go places with my four-wheeler, and dirtbike and need to carry things that can be larger than a car can. I work at a local diner and I'm paid under the table so I make more than minimum wage. But with working under the table I dont get money for deliveries only tips if the people decide to give me one. A car is useful to me as it would get better gas milage for going around town/work/school. A truck would let me tow my bike when my parents cant and without using a trailer. I figure a decent used car would get around 20-25MPG and a ok truck would get around 15-18MPG which isnt a terrible difference. Im currently looking at a F-150 1997 for $1900, *guy may take a decent quad which i have a 06 trx250* So i'm curious if I should go for a truck since it wouldn't get terrible gas milage and still haul stuff since I live in the country. My family has a truck but its a 1988 GMC sierra which gets 10MPG, Its tan with a odd tan colored door that sticks out. The truck we have also has a dump bed on it making it harder to get a bike on it and tow since the bed weighs so much. Would it be worth while to get a truck so if i have to drive one around its decent looking with better gas milage than the one we have. Or should I save for a car and get better milage and use the truck we have?
