Where can I race my car in NY?

  • Im starting to look into cars and i have a few bouncing around that i have some questions about. Price is going to be around 9K but MAXING at 10.5K. Im considering 2 and 4 door, FWD and AWD(I live in Buffalo NY so we do get snow, also i go snowboarding in the winters so the car needs to handle well in the snow) and other things. This will be a car that I take with me to college and beyond so we(my family and I) arn't looking into beaters. I'm a safe driver and my parents trust me to not race and total the car. Ive grown up on my Dad's 2009 VW Passat 2.0L Turbo. I am comfortable with turbo-charged cars and my parents arnt against them. Cars im considering (listed in level of interest): 2006 Scion Tc 2002-2003 Subaru Impreza WRX 2004-2006 Acura RSX 2005-2006 Honda Accord 2006ish Mazda 3 sedan Mid 2000's Toyota Camry S VW Jetta(very similar to my dad's->why im not crazy about) any other recommendations are welcome. Im looking for ways to narrow down the options. Almost all of these cars are well built and have no major problems, they all get between 18and 27+ MPG(i think) and they are all safe. Which of these will have the best pick up, handling, snow driving, and comfort. Which would you recommend? Serious answers only please.

    If you weren't a liberal, I'd say buy AMERICAN! ANY GM or Chrysler product would be wise.

For snow, there is only one car, the subaru. for anything else, the Mazda3 - lowest maintenance and most reliable for the cost.
