How old do you have to be to have a moped in Quebec?

Moped brands, 50 cc or 150 cc? MOPED QUESTIONS?!?

• Okay, so I am saving up money to buy a moped...because it's just A LOT cheaper to take car of than a car....! So which brand of moped is the most reliable, has the least problems...you know. I don't wanna buy some cheap brand that'll break after a month. I see that honda is pretty good....some others? Well first of all my budget is 800$ That's what I'm lookin to spendd, 900$ 's the most, can I buy a brand new moped for 800 or 900? Also, which is better for me to get....a 50 cc Moped or 150 cc Moped? I will only really drive it around town, I don't plan to drive it on the highway at ALL. What's the difference between the two? I know the 150 cc's goes faster,, but does it consume more gas? Does it hold more gas? Which is better for me to buy? And if I look into buying a used Moped, what should I look for? (as in make sure that theres no problems, or anything.) Sorry for all the questions, I just want to be a smart buyer...thanks!

  a moped has to be under 50cc and have pedals to assist, anything over 50cc is classified as a mototbike
