Dodge Durango Reviews? Are they any good?

GMC or Dodge who is better more reliable maker.?

  • Looking into purchasing a vehicle and I read the reviews on the GMC Terrain and on the Dodge Durango just don't know which one to go with.

    My guess is that, being a car-based crossover, the Terrain will handle better, but the Durango will have more grunt in its gas pedal. General Motors and Chrysler both make excellent pickup trucks and the Chevrolet Equinox, on which the Terrain is based, has the longer track record. The old Durango had a pretty bad reputation, and the new one hasn't been around that long. Drive them both. Rent them for a weekend if possible. See which one you like better. I wouldn't buy either - I'd get either an Escape or a Tahoe if I wanted an SUV. Too much chrome on the Terrain and too much Chrysler in the Durango.

I would rate them the same but you are looking at two totally different vehicles. the durango is based on a truck ,The terrain is based on a car .
