Paying Car Tax Twice? At Dealer and DMV?
-
I bought my car off of a car auction called Copart. I am supposed to pay for the car very soon and I was told that Copart is charging me some sort of tax on the car and that when I go to register the car, I will need to pay tax on the car again at the DMV. Is that possible? What are some tips/advice that I can get to find out? Thanks!

Answer:
Likely that the auction is charging a buyer's fee. That's normal. They also charge seller fees. That's how they pay the bills.
