Are international shipping sites reliable?

How come some retailers have international shipping restrictionS? And how do sites such as bongous work?

  • I have noticed that some online retailers don't ship internationally. How come? Why are there shipping restrictions for some retailers and not all? Also, if there are shipping restrictions for online retailers, how do Mail and packages forwarding services, such as bongous and usa2me, by pass the restrictions? How do they work anyway?

  • Answer:

The choice to ship or not ship internationally is really up to the retailers. There are restrictions and guidelines for import/export for every country (including the US.) Some companies don't want the hassle of trying to accurately fulfill international orders or have been burned by customs, fraudulent purchases, etc. This is why a service like Bongo International can be very useful to eCommerce merchants. They don't "bypass" the restrictions. They forward international purchases and adhere to all guidelines of the import country so the Retailer doesn't have to worry about the transaction being completed successfully. You should look at the BongoUS site for more info on the services: https://bongous.com/global-ecommerce.php Hope this helps!
