What kinda jobs can people behind the camera do?

Im thinking of starting a calender, but I dont know if people actually buy calenders anymore.?

  • I am in between jobs and I got my camera and went thru pictures and was thinking of making a calender. I know it wont be a huge success its more or less something to keep me occupied and if I make a profit I make one. But my two questions were do people actually still buy calenders? As well as what do you think the price would be to make one and where can I sell it? I guess that was three questions.

The only calendars I have ever purchased are the ones that have a small notebook included and can be carried in your pocket. Every year in the mail, I receive about 6 calendars with all types of photos on them. Five of these calendars are thrown away every year. So to answer your questions, not many people actually buy calendars, and you'd have to contact a company to purchase the rights to your photos they may want to use on their business calendar. The money you would make would be from the sale of your photos. Making the calendars yourself would be very expensive.
