What are some negative aspects in american values?

  • I am doing a project on this and my idea of negative was basically drugs sex and alcohol. I'm not really sure because on google it said positice american values are like honesty, informality, etc.

    Obesity - junk food and fast food Consumerism - the so called "need" for unnecessary things, bought at cheap prices, usually not locally produced Good one Bluebird - I'd like to ad capitalism to my list :D (that could go hand in hand with consumerism)

Drugs, sex, and alcohol are in every country, not just the US. I'm going to have to say the emphasis on money is probably the worst aspect of American values.
