What does it mean to dream in third person?

    I have read several dream interpretation books. But there is no mention like this. That is why I feel you are wondering. Does it really mean anything. Because dreams should not be relied basically because dreams can not be scrutinized. There is no proof, evidence or witness for dreams. Moreover I have a doubt. Are you really talking about the dreamer or the characters acting inside the dream and considering them first person, second person or third person, based on their sequence of appearance in the dream. Pl condescend to clarify.

Dreaming in first person is pretty standard. I've only had a couple of dreams (that I recall) that were in third person.
