What statistical analysis should I use?

What form of statistical analysis should i use?

• I am writing up a psychology experiment. I am testing 2 different hypotheses. 1)The more important an object that is dropped looks, the more likely somebody is to pick it up. 2)People are more likely to tell a person they dropped something if they have a more sad/gloomy expression on. Please help me what form of statistical analysis should i use and why? thanks so much!

  statistics are applied to numbers. you need to figure out how you will quantify how important an object looks, and how sad/gloomy an expression is.
