Contact Toastmaster's International and find out if they have groups in your area for people in your age group. Toastmaster's is a public speaking club where you get to practice speaking in front of others and it will help you overcome your shyness. If not, see if your school has a similar program or possible a community center in your home town. i think you need to get you priorities right. acting and modelling arent important to society so messing up isnt a problem you have to learn to pretend to be confident also f*ck those scouts,most of them are evil and stuck up. insecure that they arent good enough to be on stage
