Do people hear someones voice differently on the phone then in person for example if someone was wearing expensive clothes and drove an expensive car would their accent seem more posh to you
-
Answer:
your own voice always sound different if you hear it played back to you... when you speak out loud the way you hear your own voice is different to how it sounds if you hear it recorded due to the way it vibrates in your ears when you speak. no one can tell what someone looks like or what their bank account is like just be the sound of their voice on the phone. if you sound "posh" people might assume you are upper class, well educated and rich! but that's just stereotyping.
