How can i be more outgoing in person?

  • when i'm online, i'm so talkative and outgoing. i sometimes say things that i normally wouldn't say in person. i guess it's because no one can see me. how can i get that same confidence to be outgoing in person? i've been really shy/quiet all my life. i almost feel like i'm being fake by acting like this. but that's just me.

    Talking with classmates around you (not when the teacher is talking, of course) is very helpful. You probably don't talk to them frequently, so it's a good way to build social skills, and who knows - you might learn something about them. Try it! If you're not confident about appearance, invest in a new hairstyle or new clothing - it makes you feel a lot better! You could even get your nails done. Whatever works. Joining a club with other who share your interests builds skills and friendship. Whether it be a hobby or something community-related, being part of a club gives you the sense of joy. It was weird reading this, because, well you're like me. for me... I hate my nose! I feel if I had plastic surgery id be much more outgoing / flirty. you maybe have a physical trait holding you back.
