Where can I take a good, free learning style test online?

Do IQ test take learning disabilities into account when scoring?

  • Just curious because It's obviously harder for a person with learning disabilities to perform cognitive processes.

  • Answer:

No, they don't. The scoring of IQ tests is based on a huge sample of individuals, and scores are standardised to what is normal (so 100 is the average score for all people of that age range). individuals with learning disabilities will probably score very low (depending on the severity of their impairment). IQ tests are therefore not very appropriate for these people, but can be used to see how the person compares to 'normal' individuals of the same age to get a picture of how severe their impairment is. Depending on the type of learning impairment, some individuals may perform normally on some 'subtests' of an IQ test, but not well on others.
