Would it be unusual to double-major in Psychology & Sociology?

Social psychology, life span psychology, sociology, and philosophy in the same semester?

  • I have registered for social psychology, life span development psychology, sociology, and philosophy in the same semester. I am wondering if it would be a good idea to take all of the above mentioned classes in one semester. I am worried about the workload being too much to handle all at once. Also, I am worried about social psychology and sociology creating a confusion for me. I know that the have similarities, and I am worried that I will mix up the two subjects. Any thoughts??? Any answers will be well appreciated. This is my second semester of college and I just don't know what I will be getting myself into :) TIA

  • Answer:

if you think it will be too much i would drop sociology, its dull and only seems to state the bleeding obvious! you could maybe have a word with the departmental head and ask them about the likely work load.
