• My name is Alex (short for "Alexis") and I have another name "Brenda". I'm 14 years old in 9th Grade. I have blonde hair from my mother and sea blue eyes from my father. I'm 5'2 and weigh 115 pounds. My parents and family are the best. I currently live in Jordan, I used to live in California but came to Jordan a year ago because my dad wants me to learn Arabic for unknown reasons (hardest language I've ever learned -_- I'm good with English...) so.....I have an enjoyable life with my family, but a misrebal one at school.....I go to this school where theres an IGCSE system....not the SAT I'm used to...my dad wanted me to go to this school because almost half of the students there are American, he didn't want me to feel left-out so he brought me to this school.....boy was he wrong. I feel like an out-cast everyones not like me...at all(but I dont really care that much). I mean when I first came to this school in 8th grade theres this really nice Muslim girl who gave me a tour around the school and later became my best-friend, but she moved back to Michigan and I'm still stuck here -_-. Before that my class hated my friend fo some reason I think they hated the happy vibe coming out of here shes sometimes crazy. So after she left I didn't realise how much the class hated me. I'm really neglected in this class but I a teachers pet. They find me really odd because they're mean, bullies, jerks, idiots (really I'm not joking..) complain a lot, always misunderstand things, bad, curse a lot, scream alot, and did I mention complete idiot jerks -_-. Every time a teacher gives us a quiz they're all like "WHY-ARE-YOU-DOING THIS TO US !! YOU GUYS JUST WANT TO TORTURE US!!" and they started saying things in Arabic which I didn't understand only half what they said..and I just nod and accept it....they have a hard time accepting themselves. We're 18 students in one class and about 12 of them are jerks and the rest are idiots. Some are really nice but there scared of the 12 jerks who call themselves "cool" to think they're losers, but I dont EVER want to be part of that jerk group. They already found a target to pick-on and try to get to their "cool jerks" side and that target is me.....I keep resisting them but they make me SO misrebal, but no matter how misrebal I'am I try to stay strong and be me as possible which isn't THAT hard I dont care. They complain while I dont....some get scared and got to the "cool" side while I stay put trying to stand up for myself. They're never there for me when I'm sad, angry and mad but I keep resisting. They sometimes insult my old best-friend (her name is Yasmine) but I get angry and scream at them for being such jerks... I'm known as the goodey two shoes of this class they always make me feel misrebal. It's almost the end of the semester and I'm still trying to stay strong. I'm really nice to them but what am I going to do. I suffer kidney reflux and make operations every year (doctors here are nice :D) and I sometimes feel unsure of myself and I feel like loosing hope because of my condition but I accept whats happening in my life. I love Nature and the color green.....I love being around grass its the only place where I can actually think :). I want to be a doctor when I grow up and help the poor because of the things that I suffer from now....is nothing compared to some people with heart diseases, cancer and alot more serious conditions so I want to help thoes people who are suffering like I'am now so being a doctor is a right job for me I think :). My favorite sport is really unique...fencing its like sword fighting its a really calm game that suits me. Its calm and sophisticated and makes me feel free and strong. What else should I tell you about myself.....oh yeah !! I LOVE science and math (except for Physics) I love doing algebric equations, Geometry, Algebra, Graphs and basically everything in Math. I love Biology and Chemistry I love everything about these 3 subjects. My Arabic teacher is nice :) She knows I'm weak in this language and supports me and tries to make me better shes really sweet :). I love vegetables and fruits I like anything healthy... I despise junk food Yuck !! (that dosent mean I dont eat any though ;)) my favorite place to be in is America... I miss the beach :). I love showing my parents and teachers what I can do. I accept people the way they are and I believe everyones smart in their own way :). I think thats almost everything you need to know about me oh and my greatest fear is.....nothing but God :).   I think your very strong! I'm 16 and i come from a military family so i know where your coming from having to move around the globe. I spent some time in the U.A.E, which is also in the middle east. Really admire your personality, to stand up against people like that and really what i've noticed in other countries is that the majority race thinks they are superior to others... In America everyone is from somewhere so the "i am better than you" type of thing does not happen as much... The kids in the class are trying to gang up on you guys because your different from them. Also Americans don't really have the greatest reputation in the world, especially in the middle east. And were is the teacher in these situations? it is his or her responsibility to keep the classroom a friendly place. Hope you enjoy your time in Jordan, and remember home is always waiting for you!
