How do I become positively motivated instead of negatively motivated?

I have learned that I am far more likely to do something out of fear than I am to do something out of desire. How can I change this?

I have the same problem and have given it a lot of thought. The bulk of the problem is that it is easier to generate negative thinking than going the positive road. But that's why positive thinking has so much value, too. The conventional wisdom says one must visualize one's goals. Seemingly it is something on which every successful people agree: all of them mention dedicating time to visualizing their desired objectives as one of their most important activities. 'Everything is created twice, first in the mind, then in reality'.
