Is it okay to PRAY in order to win the lottery?

You pray for what ever you want to, because the bible does say "pray for all things." But also remember that the Lord works in mysterious ways and He does have a sense of humor. (My grandparents were born and raised in el paso, tx and the always prayed that they would some day move back to el paso. The county that we live in and that they have lived in for about 20 years is el paso. But we are in colorado.) I have said a prayer for you that God guides you in your money issues and He helps you with everything that He sees is nessisary. And remember that He doesn't put you through more than you can't handle.

Yes, but make sure you also pray for other things in your life not just money. Dont forget to pray for your family, health, friends, and God himself!!!!!!

If by praying you mean channeling positive energy into something that you want to happen, then I believe it *may* help. I do believe in positivism, after all, we're all made up of energy. Just look at negative and positive people. Negative people who assume negative things will happen, will always have negative things happen to them. On the other hand, positive people often experience positive things. Not saying there's a guarantee, but thing of positivism as a nurturing tool The more you nurture a plant, the more chances it will grow big and healthy. I can't say much about a "god" who's sitting up there granting prayers. I say that's irrelevant. Some people don't believe in god but still practice positivism and can see good results just from staying positive. It's not greedy to wish for things, especially in desperate times like these. As long as no one gets hurt along the way. Before you can take care of others, you must take care yourself first, right? It's only common sense. An important note. You need both positivism and action to make it work. You can't pass a math test without knowing how to add.
