Is the Epiphone SG-400 a good guitar?

Which guitar is better: Epiphone SG Express or G-400?

  • I'm really liking the G-400 based on reviews, but I have smaller than average fingers (2.5 to 3.5 inches, my entire hand is 7.5 inches from my wrist to the tip of my middle finger), so I thought the SG Express would be good based on that. What's the difference between the two guitars excluding the size? Pickup quality? Sound quality? etc., etc. I am a little skeptical of the price, since the G-400 is more than twice the price of the Express, but money isn't a reflection of everything.     i would go with the g-400. it may cost more but in my guitar experience nicer guitars just play easier and sound better as far as tone and the money will definitely be worth it
