How to become a cheerleader in high school?

  • OK, i'm going to be honest here. i'm a teenage girl and before (since i was in the 6th grade) i always used to get into fights and i was seen as a "bad girl" or whatever but now i'm in the 8th grade, i haven't got into a fight since the 7th (which is really good, BTW) i don't know how this happened but i started dressing kinda guyish, like hats, and clothes that i thought was cute but wasn't, (nothing to guyish though) i'm going to the 9th grade after the summer (21 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL!! WOAAHHH! (: and this year i dont want to be another girl in the yearbook, i want to be heard.and i want to be a cheerleader, but need some advice on it. ive always been shy in a way so i need some good advice on how to become a cheerleader. (i'm 135 pounds, 5'5, short black curly hair, flexible, i can do everything but a backflip!) anybody have anything i really really need to know? fwi: im going to yearling high school in whitehall, i cant wait to go http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=219286644763705&set=a.219286634763706.74002.100000471132007&type=1

    At my school you have to be able to at LEAST do a SINGLE backflip. But, good luck! Being a cheerleader is quite fun. I was shy, well i am shy but that never stopped me. Just let all self-conciousness go and "fight" against your brain that's saying "don't talk or be loud". Good luck! :)
