    You can learn on either one. I learned on Acoustic first. It just felt right. Like, acoustic was the first step and then the electric guitar was step 2. In my opinion, almost anything can be played on acoustic so it's more versatile. But it's up to you and what you're more comfortable with. Acoustic is also cheaper in the long run because you dont have to buy an amp or anything for it.

Neither is "better" to learn on. They're different instruments and you play different sorts of things on them. The basics are all the same though, so it makes no difference. Acoustic is a little more convenient, since all you need is the guitar, but that doesn't make it "better" If you want to play electric, play electric. It's that simple.
