How to wrap tight a cut finger a child is picking on?

How can I improve my guitar finger style picking?

• I'm actually trying to pinpoint on finger style picking...or when the pick picks out bass notes (I've only been playing for a few months over a year by the way:) I think it's the best form of guitar playing for me for now...I can play a lot of other things, but this is my weakest point. I usually mainly play my acoustic guitar because I don't think I'm ready for my electric so like while I'm out with my guitar I want to entertain with some cool sounding finger style picking and stuff. Some people that I can think of that do the finger style picking I want to are the early Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Donovan and John Lennon on his acoustic album (I only know how to "Travis style pick" like in Julia or Blackbird from the Beatle's White Album)

  Put your thumb up on the low E string and use it to pick E A D and use your index for G your middle for B and your ring finger for High E pluck up wards and reset to the original position. To help with coordination (this is what I do) Name your Fingers! Index- Billy Middle-Bob Ring- Jerry and just memorize the order in your head but start slow bit by bit " Billy bob billy Jerry Jerry Billy Jerry Bob Bob" ect. ect. just a memory trick...
