How to turn guitar tabs/chords into piano music?

I play piano, and I know that keys are (for c major) are c - e - g. So say if you have a gmaj on guitar, thats a G - B - D on piano, you can also then start break up the chords, that often creates the tune you are looking for, as most songs are based on piano/guitar chords. I have used programs to turn tab into standard notation but I'm not sure if it does the opposite. The same notes can be played many ways on the guitar. Best solution. Just read the music. The treble staff would be the guitar part. By the time you input all of the standard notation into the CPU program, you could have just read it.
